This will not be a thorough resource for all the common flower essence questions, but of the most common ones that we have been asked. To answer any questions not listed below, try the FES or Master's FAQ through our Other Lines page. There's a page called, "What are flower essences?" Another great GFE resource is Flower Essence Analogies. The analogies can help you understand the special nature of flower essences. How do I take my flower essences? How many times a day should I take my flower essences? Is there anything that hurts or hinders flower essences? How do I refill my bottle? How do I take my flower essences? Most people take essences orally, with drops under the tongue, or by sipping/drinking water to which essences have been added. They can also be added to a bath, or sprayed over a person or an area with a spray bottle. Often 3-6 drops are suggested, but one drop is
really just as good, because with essences, a little goes a long way. Taking
one drop of an essence or drinking a gallon of an essence, is the same thing.
Frequency matters, not volume. See 'Ringing the Bell' in Flower
Essence Analogies, for further explanation of
this flower essence property. It's a good idea to shake the essence before taking it. It's usually recommended that the best results
come from taking an essence some time other than while you are eating. Water
is of course fine. Fruits and fruit juice are also okay, as is alcohol, since
this
is
what most
essences
are based in. One need not be strict about the waiting time, though. Taking an essence just before going to sleep or
just after waking up is also a great time. It's always a good idea to slow down before taking
an essence to receive it deeply, but they work regardless. How many times a day should I take my flower essences? At least once every 24 hours seems to be the key.
I recommend cultivating the habit of taking them at least a few times a day,
so that
you can more
easily stay consistent with them. Essence formulas with gemstones are often very
powerful. For example, the Chakra formulas from G`race Flower Essences are
often ones that are very powerful because of their gemstone ingredients.
In particular, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th chakra formulas should be taken
cautiously, since it seems that many of us have major issues in these areas.
I always advise people to monitor their experience with these essences, and
if they feel too strong, to ask for a more simpler essence formula, which
I would send them for free. Essences can bring issues to the surface, particularly
if your formula addresses major life issues, and there is no reason to rush
anything with flower essences. Is there anything that hurts or hinders flower essences? The main things that disrupt flower essences would be:
Don't worry about coffee, mint, etc. In general, the healthier one is, the more effective the essences will be. But don't worry about that. Just start where you are. P.S. If you really want to quit coffee or sugar effortlessly, try FES's Morning Glory essence, or GFE's Healthy Bottle How do I refill my bottle? You can refill your essence formula without
needing to add the original essences. Just add approximately
1 part pure water and 1 part vodka (or another hard alcohol), or 1 part
pure water and 1 part apple cider vinegar, shake up your bottle, and you
will have the same essence that you started with. You
can do this at any point. You can do this when your bottle is 90% full,
or when your bottle is 10% full; it makes no difference. The liquid holds
a vibrational pattern. It does not hold any amount
of physical substance from flowers. It holds their energy pattern. So, like
a hologram, a little piece can recreate the whole. Flower
essences operate under a different and more advanced paradigm than what we
are used to. They are not primarily physical. They
are energetic. This question leads into a very interesting flower
essence topic: |
